We accept walk-ins only when availability allows. Each service takes approximately 55-75 minutes, so if we are fully booked, we won’t be able to accommodate walk-ins. In some cases, walk-in clients may need to wait until the next available time slot.
What if I’m not sure what haircut will suit me?
How is LoMax Barbers different from other barbershops?
We focus on providing a dedicated, one-on-one experience. Many shops operate on a quick turnover model, but we believe a great haircut requires time and focus. We book a full 55 to 75 minutes for each client. This allows us to be meticulous with every detail, from perfecting the fade to ensuring your line-up is precise, all in a relaxed and private studio environment.
I’ve had bad experiences with barbers not listening. How do you ensure I get the cut I want?

What specific services are included in your standard 'Haircut' package?
Our standard ‘Haircut’ is a complete, 55-minute grooming session designed to cover all the details. It includes:
- A Personal Consultation: We’ll start by chatting to make sure we find the best style for you.
- A Full Haircut: This can be any style you choose, from a Low Taper Fade to classic scissor work.
- A Sharp Line-Up: We’ll define your hairline with precision for a clean finish.
- A Neckline Shave: For that extra clean and polished look.
- Styling and Friendly Advice: We’ll style your hair and share some simple tips on how you can maintain the look at home.
Do you operate by appointment only and not accept walk-ins?

How do I style my new haircut at home to make it look as good as when I leave the studio?

What is your policy for cancellations or clients who are late?
We appreciate you letting us know if your plans change. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. For no-shows, a 50% cancellation fee of the service price will apply. If you’re running more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule to ensure we have enough time to give you a great haircut without impacting other clients’ appointments.

Is my credit card information safe when booking through your system?
Do you offer services outside of your regular business hours?
We understand that schedules can be busy. We offer a ‘Before Hours/After Hours’ service for appointments outside of our standard times. This is a premium option, and you can arrange it by calling (03) 9007 2855 . Before and after-hours appointments are available and are charged at double the standard rate.

Parking is available behind the barbershop, with entry via Batesford Road. Once parked, you’ll have 1-hour parking. From there, walk along the Waverley Trail toward Warrigal Road — our barbershop is located at 619 Warrigal Road and is just a short walk from the trail exit.
